Eligibility Criteria for the 2025 Qatar University Undergraduate Scholarship:
To be eligible for the Qatar University Undergraduate Scholarship, a person must have;
- A mandatory high school certificate is required.
- Their previous education must be outstanding
- It is taken starting with the semester of the award, although it can be deferred for one semester by seeking permission from the scholarship committee.
- Failure to pass the first semester will result in cancellation of the scholarship, with notification sent via QU email.
- The applicants must have a good reputation.
- Candidates already availing of any other scholarship are not eligible to apply for the QU scholarship

An online application with a non-refundable QR 200 application fee is required to process the application.
Supporting Documents

- Upload a Passport-size photograph on your profile, and attach a photocopy of your valid Qatari ID. Applicants who are not from Qatar, attach a passport copy.
High School Transcripts
Candidates must submit original final official transcripts with copies to be used for verification purposes. Submission must be in person by the deadline date to Qatar University or submitted in your own country’s embassy.
Supporting documents for Applicant having Qatari parents
- Paste a copy of the Qatari parent ID and birth certificate of the applicant.
- Non-Qatari female students married to Qatari nationals attach a copy of the marriage contract and the husband’s ID.
- Should be valid for not more than six months from the date of examination. Students who have been medically examined by Primary Health Care Corporation or Medical Commission centers do not need to submit results as QU will receive them directly. Those who have been medically examined by private centers should contact the Admissions Section.
- For International students who are searching for a scholarship at Qatar University, no visa application is required since the Scholarships and International Admissions Section will process the visa for the scholars.

1. Complete the Online Admission Application
All undergraduate applicants to Qatar University must apply to their intended college through the QU online admission application. Tap on “Start Application” and create an account with a username and password. Then log in to your application and fill in all the required sections carefully. The online application allows you to complete or save your work and then return to it later. You can also review and submit your application easily from your computer before the deadline.
