University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) 2024 Benefits
The University of Twente provides numerous scholarships for the 2-years Master’s program. However, it should be kept in mind that the scholarship will only be continued during the second year when students meet the process requirements for the UTS.
For the Renewal of the Scholarship, you must score:
- An average grade of 7 (out of 10) at the end of the third quartile of the first year
- At least 50% of European Credits at the end of the third quartile of the first year
Funding Cost
- € 3,000 – € 22,000 for one year (approximately 50 scholarships available). If you have applied for a two-year program.
- The scholarship will bear all your living and accommodation costs including study and project-related costs. But, you need to pay tuition fees on your own or apply for other available scholarships if you can’t afford to pay at all.
Additional Scholarship
An additional scholarship can be given to UTS Awardees only for programs starting in September 2024.
Kipaji Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria For University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) 2024
- All candidates need to pass the general English language test requirement Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the sub-score of speaking skills.
- All nationalities are eligible to apply.
- Application for an UT scholarship is a procedure separate from the application for course entry at the University of Twente. Regardless of funding, you need to receive an admission letter first.
- You must have a student number.
- Applicants must have not graduated from a UT (under)graduate program;
- Check the eligibility of your country here.
- The EU/EEA students are not eligible to apply.
How to apply for the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) 2024?
- First, candidates need to Create an online account on Studielink.
- After your registration on Studielink, you will receive an email with an invitation to the Osiris online application portal. Fill in all the required fields, upload the document, and submit the application form.
- Once you applied for a Master’s program and received a (conditional) admission letter, you can apply for the scholarship with your student number.
- It is required to have a provisional admission letter to be eligible for the scholarship. Otherwise, you don’t need to apply separately for the scholarship form.
