McDonald Fellowships 2024 for International Students Benefits

The fellowship provides a stipend of £30,000 GBP per year to cover the living cost and traveling while conducting research in different areas of the UK.

In addition, a funding of £2,000 GBP per year to the host institution.

Eligibility Criteria?

Candidates must be at the postgraduate level (at least MSc, preferably PhD/MD) in an area relevant to multiple sclerosis.

Be citizens of a developing country with low- or middle-income (as defined by the World Bank).

The applicants need to be in a low- or middle-income country at the time of applying to this Fellowship program.

Should be enthusiastic to research on Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Candidates must be studying or working in another country on a project which started six months before their selection.

Moreover, Students must be determined enough to work on MS upon their return to their home country.

How to Apply?

First, applicants need to create an online account on the official link given at the end of this article. Once done with the application process log-in to your account using your Candidate ID and password provided to you.

Then, select the field of interest and project, search for a project supervisor, and agree to terms and conditions.

Now fill in all the information, upload documents, and submit the application form.

Remember this after the Applicant submits, the Host is contacted to submit a supporting statement using the same application form. But, it should be submitted once.

After that, the applicant should request the three referees to send their reference letters directly to research@msif.org before the 30th of June deadline.
