Benefits of UMY Indonesian Scholarship for International Students 2025
UMY Scholarship provides Partial or 100% Tuition fee and living expenditures based on the academic achievements of students.
- Benefits For Undergraduate Students
- Students with a GPA equal to or above 3.0 out of the 4.0 scale can get a full tuition fee waiver and living expenses.
- 2.75 ≤ GPA < 3.00 Applicants get a 75% tuition fee.
- The one who has achieved below 2.75 GPA can get a minimum of 25% scholarship for academics.
- Undergraduates also get a monthly allowance of IDR 1,850,000
- Master’s and PhD Students
- Candidates with a GPA of 3.50/4.0 get 100% tuition fee and cost of living.
- 75% tuition fee concession for the one who gets 3.25 ≤ GPA < 3.50 in the Undergraduate degree.
- Moreover, a 50% scholarship for 3.00 ≤ GPA < 3.25 range Students.
- A stipend of IDR 2,350,000 for Master Studies to cover monthly allowances and IDR 2,600,000 for Doctoral students.

- Students from ALL Nationalities are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have a high school degree to get admission in the Undergraduate program and a completed Bachelor’s degree for Master’s admission.
- English Language proficiency requirements:
- I-ELTS/TOEFL/Duo lingo/TOEFEL
- B1 CEFR Level( For Undergraduate Students)
- B2 CEFR Level (for Master and Doctoral students)
- For Native Speakers of English, the stamped Proficiency Certificate is required.
- Require GPA for a Full Scholarship must be above 3.0/4.0 for Undergraduate and Master’s and PhD which is 3.5/4.0.

Application Process for UMY Indonesian Scholarship for International Students 2025
- Firstly, register yourself at internationaladmissions.umy.ac.id. Put personal Email and password then the University will send a verification link to your Email. Verify it and log-in to your online application account.
- Fill in all the sections, upload the documents, and submit the online application.
- After that, the selection committee will access your form and send you an email for an Interview if you get selected.
- Once done with the interview documents validation is carried out at the Indonesian Embassy in each country.
- Finally, after the validation of your documents, you will receive an admission offer along with the Scholarship amount based on your academic achievements.
