Eligibility Criteria for France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship 2025

• Applications must be submitted via a French higher education institution for the Master’s and PhD degree programs.

• Master’s Level: International Students are encouraged to apply who stay outside France

• Doctoral Level: Applicants who are already studying in France may apply, but preference will be given to those residing outside of France.

• Ineligible Programs: Continuous education, apprenticeship contracts, or professional training are not eligible for the Eiffel Scholarship.

• International applicants other than France must not have dual nationality with France.

• Master’s level candidates must be no older than 27 years of age.

• The age limit for PhD level students is 32 years

• Applicants for the Master’s degree must not be currently studying in France at the time of the application.

• Students having any other International scholarships are not eligible to apply for the Eiffel Scholarship.

Application Procedure for France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship 2025

Step 1: Contact Campus France Embassy

Try to reach out to the office in your country of origin or the Cooperation and Culture Office of the French Embassy; they can advise on your study plans.

Find out from the French educational institution or research organization through its website or by contacting its office of international relations, as to how to make an application for entry (Including the deadline by which your application must be submitted). They can confirm your desire to be selected for an Eiffel scholarship.

Step 2:  Application at the French Institution

Once accepted by the French higher education institution, contact should then be made to the international office of that university or in some institutions, the office handling scholarship application.

Your chosen institution will walk you through all this while obtaining all the documents you may need to submit your nomination on your behalf.

Step 3:  Institution Nomination

After the university collects your application materials, they will nominate you for the Eiffel Scholarship. Nominations are sent directly to the Campus France organization. You will receive Email by April 2025 if you get selected.

Note: No Application fee is required for the France Eiffel Scholarship. Students can now apply for the scholarship without worrying about heavy application fees.
