After the NIMS researcher has reviewed your application documents, they may request a reference letter from your academic supervisor. Be prepared to provide this reference letter if requested.
- Review of Application by the NIMS Researcher
After receiving all application materials, including the reference letter, the NIMS researcher will evaluate your qualifications and suitability for the internship program.
Once you agree with the researcher to take you as an intern, the application documents will be submitted to the Graduate Program Section of the Academic Collaboration Office for further processing.
- Result of Screening
You will hear the result of the screening directly from the researcher. He or she will send you a notice stating whether the application was approved or not. If accepted, the researcher will work with you to finalize the start and end dates of the program about your availability and the researcher’s schedule.
