Who can apply for the Russian Open Door Scholarship 2026?

Students from any Nationality are eligible to apply for the Open Door Scholarship
If you are applying for the Bachelor’s degree, a complete Secondary school certificate is required
For the Master’s program, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree, and those applying for the Doctoral program should possess a complete Master’s degree
Post-Doctoral programs are also offered for the Doctoral students
Candidates must appear in the Entrance test to move forward to the other stages
No IELTS is needed for this Scholarship. However, if you have an international language certificate, it will be considered a plus point.

Application Procedure of the Russian Open Door Scholarship 2026

There are two stages for the Undergraduate and Master’s admission:

First Stage: Candidates must register themselves via the online application system. You need to fill out the online application form, which will be accessed by the Selection committee, and then an entrance test will be held.
Second Stage: After completion of the first stage, candidates will have multiple task tests to determine their critical thinking and analytical skills. Then, successful candidates will be awarded the Open Door Scholarship.

Doctoral and Post-Doc Selection Process:

There are three stages:

First stage: An online application assessment and an Entrance test
Second stage: Multiple tasks and a video presentation for the research proposal.
Third Stage: Interview with the Research supervisors
