UWC Japan Scholarship for International Students Benefits

Students who enrol in grade 10 and apply for grades 11 and 12 are provided with a need-based scholarship that covers:

The tuition fee of 4,226,000 JPY each year for the Awardees

A boarding Fee of 1,600,000 JPY every year for those who have been given a full need-based Scholarship

Facilities Fee of 330,000 JPY annually that the awardee will use during his/her stay in Japan

Cost for visa and travel in extreme financial cases but otherwise students have to pay by themselves

Part-time job facilities for students to cover their other expenses

Eligibility Criteria

You must be currently enrolled in the equivalent of US Grade 9 / UK Year 10 while applying for the application and will have completed this grade by August 2024.

The student must be born between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2009.

All Nationalities are eligible to apply

Students must possess good academic grades and certifications which act as plus points for your section

Application Process of UWC Japan Scholarship

First, create an online account on the UWC ISAK Japan website

After creating your account fill out the application form which requires your personal information

Then the selection Committee will verify your eligibility and send you an email if you meet the requirements. That includes answering several short-answer (up to 250 words) and 2 long-answer (up to 500 words) questions. You also need to submit two videos of yourself (maximum 90 seconds).
